It allows for the connection of a soft rubber washer hose or aluminum washer drain to a standpipe, fitting 1-1/2 in. and 2 in. metal or plastic standpipes. Constructed of heavy-duty plastic, this air gap ensures long-term durability.

This standpipe air gap is suitable for use with washing machine discharge hoses, dehumidifiers, water filtration devices, water softeners, and any other appliance that drains into a standpipe. It allows for the hook-up of a soft rubber hose or aluminum drain to share a standpipe and can fit 1-1/2 and 2" metal or plastic standpipes. Additionally, it provides full backflow and anti-siphon protection to prevent wastewater from contaminating the water supply.

Installation of this air gap is simple, as it fits 1-1/2-in. and 2-in. diameter metal or plastic standpipes and can be mounted at three different levels. Its standard design enables the sharing of a standpipe with other air gap units, and it is recommended for use with a flow rate of 1 to 7 gallons per minute (3.7 to 26.5 liters per minute). This versatile product can be used for washing machine discharge, dehumidifiers, water filtration devices, and water softeners.
